Track of the Week 15
Holiday Edition!
I hope everyone is having a great, and safe, holiday. This week I’m in Montreal visiting the family, and hopefully staying for New Years. Anyhow, this weeks Track of the Week goes to Breakfast for the track Air Guitar. Many recent tracks have been using this guitaresque sound… I’m going to guess and say it started with Junkie XL’s Air Guitar Remix of UR from Tiësto’s Just Be album. Have a listen!
Track of the Week 14
Chicane does it again. This track is fantastic, with a great melody that accentuates this warm feeling and with the weather out there cooling down its a great track to listen to while being out there. Have a listen to Chicane’s rework of Sigur Ros – Hoppipolla.

Track of the Week 13
I was recently introduced to thesixtyone.com, it’s a great site to check out new artists and genres. Not to much electronica that would be in the same genre as Armada musicians, but I found this one chill-out track. It’s a track from The Crystal Method’s latest CD featuring the voice of Meiko. Have a listen!
Track of the Week 12
This week’s track comes from A State of Trance 400 Albert Vorne – Formentera What (Gareth Emery Remix)

Track of the Week 10
This week’s track was featured on Armin’s A State of Trance many episodes ago, this artist just proves how deep the talent pool is at Armada. Ohmna teams up with Nurlaila for this week’s favourite. Enjoy!

Track of the Week 09
After hearing this track – I believe – during A State of Trance 400, it has been with me since. This track is no other than Ashley Wallbridge and Andy Moor feat. Meighan Nealon – Faces. Meighan has a very soft voice, and different sound than most vocal trance singers. I thoroughly enjoy this track, enjoy.

Track of the Week 08
It has been a year (and a bit) since the break up of remix guru duo Gabriel & Dresden. In the seven years they were together they remixed and released over 50 tracks including; Way Out West – Mindcircus, Paul Oakenfold – Southern Sun, Beber & Tamra – Travelling On, Motorcycle – As the Rush Comes, Evanescence – Hello, Depeche Mode – Here Is The House, Markus Schulz – Without You Near, The Killers – Read My Mind. Not only did they remix those tracks, Josh Gabriel also produced Beautiful Things, Summer Calling with the group Andain. So this weeks favourite is G&D’s 2006 hit, Tracking Treasure Down.
Track of the Week 07
I was at the cottage yesterday just relaxing on the dock overseeing the lake while listening to music off my phone. There was this one track that put me into an everlasting trance, I first heard this track in a random video that was sent to me a while back. This gem was forgotten on my laptop, but it was a rather surprising treat to hear it so randomly on my playlist. Check it out, Charayana – Liberation.
Track of the Week 06
I just received ATB’s 8th album “Future Memories” and although What About Us and L.A Nights are his two singles off the CD the most appealing track off this album is Summervibes with 9pm. As usual this CD has the typical warm, summer feel that has usually been associated with André Tanneberger. The only beef I have with his single What About Us it reminds me to much of Ultrabeat, which I find cheesy. Although ATB has been known for his experimental tracks I find this one a little to much. I hope his next album brings a more traditional sound that we were accustomed to in his previous work, such as the sound of his 2003 release Addicted to Music, and 2004 No Silence. Overall great tracks from what I’ve heard, but for my favourite a mixture of Summervibe and 9pm just made me realize how much I love this music, and the good times that have been associated with it… 10 years of a classic.
